It is hard to believe that 1/2 of the year is now almost over, but IT IS! As exciting as that may be for many of us, remember with that comes our first READING COUNTS due date. 1850 pages read and tested (with at least 400 pages above the 1025 lexile) must be completed by January 21st.
It can be difficult to squeeze in reading! Life is busy. I hope, however, you have all tried to make this a part of your weekly routine. When I say this, it is not with the only intent of completing an assignment. It is my hope you all found at least one book you truly enjoyed! This semester I have enjoyed several books in a genre I typically do not read, mystery. I read GONE GIRL and THE CUTTING SEASON. Both have a few unique twists surrounding a criminal case. Pick one of them up if you are looking for something for the start of next quarter.
